Director's Message

Welcome to the North Branch Township Library's website.  We're pleased to note that in the months since we've been up and running, traffic on the website has increased.

I'm excited to tell you about some great new things that are happening here at the North Branch Township Library.

1.  We are going wireless!  Our library was able to partner with several other libraries in the state for a grant that lets us update our computers.  Aside from getting several new computers we will be getting wireless internet for the library.  What does this mean for you?  You will be able to bring your laptop into the library and access our wireless anytime we are open.

2.  We are joining Overdrive.  Overdrive is a site that allows you to download free library books to your electronic reader.  Nook, Sony E-Reader... you will be able to check out electronic e-books right to your own device.  This is a great way to access the shared catalog of thousands of library books.

We've been trying to hold more events here at the library.  We have a Bead Guild that meets here monthly, book clubs, garden clubs and a number of other organizations and classes that use our meeting room on a regular basis.  If you have an idea for an event/class please let us know.
